Expanded Learning Program - GUSD

 Essential Care Program: January 29th, 2026 

Goleta Union School District will be offering a 1-day Essential Care Program on Thursday, January 29th for GUSD staff whose children have a 12:00 p.m. dismissal. This program provides a safe and engaging environment so staff can attend professional development or complete their regular work shift.

• Fee: $15.00 per student
• Program Hours & Locations:
  • El Camino, Foothill, or La Patera School: 12:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Students will enjoy a variety of fun, supervised activities including games, crafts, and enrichment led by GUSD staff.

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU REGISTER: 

• This one day program is not a part of Expanded Learning Programs (ASP is Closed this day). This program is only offered to GUSD Staff!
• Expanded Learning staff will not be present. Essential Care Program Staff will be GUSD Content Specialists and Classified staff. 
  
• Students can be dropped off at 12:30 p.m. and must be picked up by the end of your regular work shift. There is no After School child care available on this day.
• If you are registering more than one student, you can complete the enrollment questions for each, add them to the cart then complete one checkout. (Please make sure you are selecting the correct student(s) registering)
• There are no refunds if your student does not attend.
